Cut to the HeartActs 2:36-37

“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”Peter’s sermon proved from the Old Testament that Jesus was the Messiah, and God opened the minds of many in his audience to not only believe this, but to see the implications for themselves. Though many of them were not directly involved in Christ’s crucifixion, Peter’s words implicate us all—our sins are the reason He gave His life. They were convicted and deeply desired to do whatever they could to be forgiven and to change. This is the attitude that God looks for and can work with (Isaiah 66:2). This attitude is the beginning of the conversion process.
Today why people listen to messages they do not pay their spiritual attention but rather begin to analyIse the technicality the accuracy and the constituency of the message. They’re like what the scripture says in the Book of Isaiah The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far… (Isaiah 29:13)
My brethren when you hear the message, the word of god coming to you I beseech you stop analysing the preacher take the message as a spiritual food nourishing your soul stop thinking of what the person could have said or what could have been the response to what he is saying, digest the word of God and let it cut your heart don’t get angry when the word of God hits you because that is how it can remake you.
Today when you listen to the word of God and you are not broken then something is wrong change your mentalities either the preacher is educated or illiterate take it as if it is from the temple of the Lord because Peter was not a professional preacher he was just a fisherman and the people shouted, ‘what shall we do’
May God remake to His taste in Jesus name.
